Mixed Opinions about FIFA 07 on Xbox360

March 24th, 2007    Subscribe To Our Feed

FIFA has always been one of the most popular football games on the market and FIFA 07 was no exception.  FIFA 07 on the Xbox360 was particularly eagerly anticipated due to its release date being a month after the versions on other consoles and the fact that EA Sports are said to have developed FIFA 07 from scratch specifically for the Xbox360 console.  Many were curious to see the difference between FIFA 07 on the Xbox360 and it’s counterparts.  More importantly, an exceptional level of superior game play was expected all round.  The resulting opinions were varied, while some claimed that it was the best Xbox360 game to date, others pointed out that the game was still more enjoyable on other consoles.

FIFA 07 on the Xbox360 has some challenging achievements that need completion although it is generally considered to be more of a social game with most of its fans preferring to play against friends.  This type of feature is enhanced by the FIFA Lounge mode that allows numerous players to play together.  This makes the game a popular addition in a group situation.  Playing against the CPU can also be challenging but tends to become slightly predictable.   The manager mode impresses most game players and FIFA 07 on the Xbox360 is the type of game that is relatively easy to learn although harder to master.

Why Choose FIFA 07 on the Xbox360?

FIFA 07 on the Xbox360 focuses on providing more life-like game playing options.  The game is designed to create realistic movements and expressions to enhance the experience for the gamers.  There are new attributes and player characteristics that make each player look and act differently.  The movements are smoother and easily manipulated as the players react swiftly to the slightest touch of the controller.  The stats and information make managing and analyzing the players more realistic and interesting.

FIFA 07 on the Xbox360 looks and feels like an advanced form of game and strives for realism.  The graphics and performance of the game are exceptional compared to other games but although the visuals and movements are advanced, it can still lack the heart that attracted the original FIFA fans in the first place.  This is the type of game that concentrates more on the look and appearance than on providing enjoyable repetitive game playing.   There is no denying the quality of the controls and graphics, however that is not always enough.  This game is worth playing but some areas need improvement.
